Stop Human Trafficking

Soroptimist International of Glendale is an active advocate bringing awareness to  Human Trafficking.  In 2007, we provided funds to Soroptimist International of the Americas to launch their “STOP” Trafficking  campaign.

We have also provided programming through lectures, the arts, and cinema to bring a focus on human trafficking.  In recent years, in conjunction with Glendale Community College, we have presented speakers’ forums, featuring agencies involved with preventing trafficking, police officials and survivors of trafficking, with a goal of educating faculty, staff, students and the community about the growing problem of human trafficking.
